White Flood New Fruit Punch Flavor

White Flood Fruit Punch is here!

Last month, Controlled Labs announced that they were launching a new White Flood flavor – Fruit Punch! In addition to Electric Lemonade and White Raspberry, users can now choose to try Fruit Punch to change up their favorite pre-workout energy drink.

Controlled Labs also changed the way serving sizes were done, although the scoop size is the same. From now one 1 serving is 1 scoop, so the larger container now contains 100 servings, not 50. Remember, the scoops are the same – so if you were using 2 scoops before, you’ll be using 2 scoops now.

There are now three sizes available, and you can see the prices for all of them on our White Flood Prices Page:

  • 100 servings (these are the prices you see on the right sidebar)
  • 50 servings
  • 20 serving – New Fruit Punch flavor only

You will see these roll out as old stocks are depleted.

How many servings should I take if I currently take 1 serving (2 scoops)?

You will now take 2 servings (still 2 scoops).

How many scoops per serving?

There is now 1 scoop per serving.

Why did Controlled Labs change the serving size/servings per container?

Three reasons:

  • White Flood is a potent product and many were using what was once called a half serving (1 scoop) anyway. A good example is for women and smaller or more caffeine-sensitive athletes.
  • Less confusion – There were constant questions on how much to take.
  • Most other preworkouts are 2-3 servings per workout and many people compare solely on price per serving, which hid the true value of White Flood.

Will the new 20 serving be available in lemonade and raspberry?

For now, only fruit punch is available in 20 servings, but this may change in the future.

We’ll do our best to get some samples and write up a nice review, but rumor is that it tastes great!

The White Flood Stack

Stacking White Flood – The Best Protocols

White Flood is an amazing nitric oxide supplement that will seriously intensify your workouts, but if you want to shatter your goals, there’s still more you can do. Don’t worry – We step you through the noise to get you only what you need.

There are three main plans discussed here:

  1. Bulking with White Flood – I need to get BIG!
  2. Cutting with White Flood – I need to drop body fat!
  3. Maintaining with White Flood – I want to stay where I’m at – happy, fit, and healthy.

First, please note that ALL supplement plans are going to fail if you’re not eating right. You need to properly fuel your body to meet your goals. We are not here to talk about nutrition – this is about creating a White Flood stack. We assume that you have your diet figured out and constantly check it in sites like FitDay. Eat right or your supplements will go to waste!

Basic Protein Guide

We all know that we need a lot of protein, and it’s hard to get enough in diet alone.

Whey protein has two basic categories: whey protein concentrate and whey protein isolate. The isolates are of better quality – they’re filtered to remove the fat and milk sugars (lactose). They are over 90% pure protein. When cheaper protein gives you an upset stomach or gas, you should switch to a pure whey protein isolate – you might have a very minor lactose intolerance.

Whey protein concentrates are a bit lower quality, and can be anywhere from 29%-89% protein (by weight). The lactose isn’t all filtered out, so it might make you gassy, although most users are fine.

We don’t care HOW you get your protein, just so that you get it. Chicken, meat, fish, nuts, shakes, eggs, poultry… they’re all great and it’s smart to mix them up.

However, we’re huge fans of Dymatize ISO-100. This is a no-BS protein that is tasty, and most importantly, a great deal for a pure whey protein isolate.

For cutting, it’s all about the isolate – there’s less sugar/carbs, something you need to drop in your diet when on a cut. For bulking, go with whatever your stomach can handle – but isolate is still king!

The Base – Supplements for All Stacking Plans

It doesn’t matter if you’re bulking or cutting for these. We recommend these for everyone:

  1. Multivitamin

We’re big fans of Animal Pak for bigtime lifters and competitive athletes like yourself.

Animal Pak isn’t cheap, but they’ve been proven for over 25 years. We simply feel better with them. There are aminos and digestive enzymes you may not normally get. Take one pack a day with a meal and you’re set for the day. If you need to save some cash, consider NOW Foods Adam Superior Multivitamin.

  2. Omega-3 Fish Oil

NOW Foods Omega-3 is a great deal – You should take these because they’re good for the heart and joints.

The dosage depends on what’s already in your diet. Most Americans get WAY too much Omega-6 but not enough Omega-3, which gets you the inflammation and cardiovascular disease we’re so accustomed to.

Try five 1000mg capsules each night before bed. Trick: Freeze them to avoid fishy burps – it will take longer to digest, having them further in your gut and away from your breath!

White Flood Stack for Bulking

Workout Day White Flood Stack for Bulking:

  1. 90 minutes pre-workout:

    ~40g Whey Protein Isolate

  2. 30 minutes before working out:

    Two scoops of White Flood.

  3. Immediately Post-Workout:

~40g Whey Protein Isolate + 20g Carbs (dextrose) + 5-10g Creatine Monohydrate Powder.

  4. 30-60min later:

    EAT BIG! Protein/carbs/natural fats

  5. Before Bed:

Optimum Nutrition 100% Casein Protein – this will digest slowly and prevent muscle breakdown overnight. Also don’t forget to take your NOW FOODS Omega-3.

Get in at least 1g of protein per pound of bodyweight each and every day. Shakes will help you meet this goal, but don’t forget about good food!

Off Day White Flood Stack for Bulking:

  1. First thing in the morning: 5-10g Creatine Monohydrate Powder with juice
  2. EAT BIG!

Weight Gainers for Bulking

You can use weightgainers, but don’t come to rely on them for everything. Real food rules. Consider using one weight gainer shake per day, but no more. Check out Dymatize Super Mass Gainer for a great deal. Half a serving is PLENTY here! Monitor your calories/carbs/protein/fat!

White Flood Stack for Cutting

Once again, if your diet isn’t finely-tuned, you’re not going to succeed.

Run this stack for a max of 8 weeks.

CLA and Branched-Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs)

In addition to your Everyday Supplements of fish oil and multivitamins, we also urge you to take ~4g of CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid)during your cut. This reduces body fat (and reduces cancer risk!) and is cost-effective.

We recommend NOW Foods CLA. Take 2g in the morning with a meal and 2g before bed with your fish oil.

Amino Acids (Both BCAAs and EAAs) will be used here. Keep aminos in your system during your cuts so that your muscles don’t get broken down when your body needs amino acids. These also increase endurance, reduce fatigue, and help with your muscular recovery after working out.

Purple Wraath is made by Controlled Labs, just like White Flood, and is absolutely delicious.

When cutting, we recommend using Controlled Labs REDuction as your fatburner. This contains both an AM and PM formula for intense energy and wicked

White Flood and REDuction both have stimulants, so you don’t need as much White Flood – Consider only one scoop!

Workout and/or Cardio Days White Flood Cutting Stack

  1. First thing in the morning:

    2 Red (AM) REDuction tablets

  2. 30 Minutes Pre-Workout:

    1 scoop White Flood

  3. 15 Minutes Pre-Workout:

    Start drinking some Purple Wraath

  4. During Workout/Cardio:

    Sip on Purple Wraath

  5. Post-Workout:

    Finish your Purple Wraath

  6. 15 Minutes Post-Workout:

Whey Protein Isolate + ~5g Creatine Monohydrate Powder (creatine is optional)

  7. Before Bed:

Take two black (PM) REDuction tablets

Off Days – White Cutting Stack

  1. Get your everyday supplements + CLA in.
  2. Take REDuction as directed
  3. Follow your cutting diet – watch the sugars and carbs!
  4. Sip on Purple Wraath throughout the day.

White Flood Stack for Maintenance

You’re one of the few who are happy with where you are – Maybe you just need to slowly make gains with your incredible White Flood workouts.

All you need to do is follow the White Flood Bulking Plan, but drop the weightgainer. It comes down to White Flood, protein, creatine (optional), and a healthy lifestyle.

Don’t forget your Everyday Supplements of Fish Oil and Multivitamins!

If you have any questions, you should head over to the Controlled Labs Forums and do a search. Kindly ask a question if you can’t find what you’re looking for. (Please note that we are not affiliated with Controlled Labs).

White Flood vs. NO-Xplode

The pre-workout supplement landscape has become very competitive, and there are many products out there. The most prominent product is BSN’s NO-Xplode, which is the original nitric oxide pre-workout supplement.

While we pay our respects to NO-Xplode for starting the pre-workout drink revolution, times have changed. New products like White Flood have improved on the formula with more powerful, leaner, and less expensive mixes. Here are some of the big differences in the matchup of White Flood vs. NO-Xplode.

Value of White Flood vs. NO-Xplode

White Flood is a very powerful pre-workout drink, and each serving is two scoops. You get 50 of these servings per can, meaning there are 100 scoops. Some people, such as women and caffeine-sensitive beginners only need 1 scoop of White Flood. Most users use two scoops of White Flood, and rarely ever want more.

NO-Xplode, however, has 50 total scoops, and requires that you use anywhere from 1-3 scoops! The average user uses two scoops.

According the PricePlow Supplement Price Comparison engine, you can get a can of NO-Xplode for $33. You can get White Flood through this site at $36.

This means that at two scoops per workout, you’re getting 25 NO-Xplode workouts for $33, or 50 White Flood workouts for $33. The winner is clear.

Value Advantage: White Flood

Calories and Carbohydrates in White Flood and NO-Xplode

BSN NO-Xplode Label

NO-Xplode Nutrition Label

White Flood is a calorie-free, carb-free mix. However, NO-Xplode has 6 grams of carbs, in the form of maltodextrin (it also reads “modified glucose polymers”).

Maltodextrin is a very unhealthy carbohydrate because it has a high glycemic index. This means that it causes an unusulaly high insulin spike, and the high levels of insulin must be used to store the carbs as body fat in your cells. It is merely fat-storing filler that you don’t need.

Needless to say, if you’re on a cutting plan or do not want to risk gaining fat, two scoops of NO-Xplode will provide you with 12 fat-storing carbs that White Flood doesn’t have. While you will probably use most of those carbs during your workout, White Flood enables you to get right to burning your own fat.

Calorie Content Advantage: White Flood

Arginine PUMP Complexes in White Flood and NO-Xplode

White Flood’s label is easy to understand. They provide you 2200mg of Arginine AKG, which is the ingredient that gives you the “pump” when working out. You also get 800mg of Ornithine AKG, which assists with this pump and induces growth hormone creation. This is a perfect amount of AAKG and OAKG to give you a sweet pump.

NO-Xplode? Who knows what you’re getting. The entire ingredient label is a giant mystery. Each scoop has 18000mg of ’stuff’, with ??? amount of pump complex, where AAKG is only one of the ingredients.

While we don’t know the exact numbers on everything in White Flood, we at least have a barometer. With NO-Xplode, on the other hand, you have absolutely no freaking clue what you’re putting into your body. You spend a lot of time tweaking your diet – now you’re going to trust this product to ruin it all?

Pump Complex Advantage: White Flood

Creatine in White Flood vs. NO-Xplode

We are big believers in creatine, but we also like to know how much we’re getting and we’re picky about when to get it.

White Flood contains no creatine. Some people don’t like this, and that’s fine. We choose to get ours in at a different time.

NO-Xplode does contain creatine, but it is not the trusted, tried, and true version of creatine monohydrate. Instead, you get (yet again) an unknown amount of the questionable creatine ethyl ester (which tastes miserable), sodium creatine phosphate (which has very little research), and creatine alpha-amino-N-butyrate (which has practically NO research). But are you getting 5g? How much more to add before you start having issues?

If you never supplement your own creatine at other times, then NO-Xplode’s is better than nothing. But with White Flood, the stacking possibilities are endless. We like to get our creatine when our absorption is at its best — first thing in the morning and immediately post-workout. This allows us to use White Flood and still have our preferred stack.

Plus, Creatine Monohydrate Powder is ultra-cheap, and you’ll need to add more to NO-Xplode anyway.

Creatine Advantage: Toss-up

Magnesium in White Flood and NO-Xplode

Magnesium is prescribed to help with constipation. It softens your stool. Are you sure this is what you want to take before working out? Are you in the mood to make a run to the bathroom between your squats and deadlifts?

Because that’s what you’re getting when you take the Magnesium Glycerophosphate that’s in NO-Xplode. This stuff is bad news. It’s a compound that’s only 10% active. So, in order to get the 350mg of magnesium on the label, BSN is putting 3500mg of this shit in your product. That’s over 10 grams of magnesium per 3-scoop serving! This is what doctors prescribe for constipation! Are you serious?

White Flood has no Magnesium. It won’t give you explosive diarrhea.

Magnesium Diarrhea Advantage: White Flood

In conclusion, we do respect NO-Xplode, but it’s time to move on. White Flood is a better value, tastier, and has no BS to make you fat, bloated, and run to the bathroom every 15 minutes.
